Please take a few moments to learn what we are all about, and how you can make a difference! On the right are the simple instructions on how to make a Blankie. The rest of this site will tell you how one of these blankies will be used to brighten up a child's life! | How to Make a No-Sew Fleece Blankie What you will need: Fleece- 1 yard cut in half (infant/toddler) 2 yards cut in half (small child) Sharp Scissors Foot long Ruler Gift Bag/Mailing Box Cut two panels of fleece to the same size (laying one on top of the other and gently smoothing them out usually works, cuts time, and allows for equal panels) Once cut, leave the two panels on top of each other making sure the sides you want to see are facing out. For infant/toddler blankie: cut four inch squares from each corner, then cut four inch strips that are one inch thick wide along all four borders of the blankie. (You should be able to cut both panels at once) For small child blankie: cut five inch squares from each corner, then cut five inch strips that are an inch and half wide each. Once the strips are cut, simply double knot each top strip to the strip directly underneath it all the way around the blanket. After your blankie is complete, label it per sex that it is meant for and bag or box it for distribution.
